Hofokam expands its footprint with the opening of a new branch in Kyegegwa, reaffirming its commitment to bringing financial services closer to the communities it serves. The new branch supports Hofokam’s growth strategy of increasing access to inclusive and affordable microfinance solutions for households, smallholder farmers, and micro and small enterprises.
Kyegegwa branch will significantly reduce the distance previously travelled by clients from Kyegegwa, Mubende, and Kasambya who had to access services from Kyenjojo branch. By moving services nearer to the people, Hofokam aims to improve convenience, reduce client costs, and strengthen relationships with local communities.
The branch will offer a wide range of products and services including agricultural loans, business loans, school fees financing and other tailored microfinance solutions. The new branch will also support expansion into the refugee financing space, extending inclusive financial services to refugee and host communities in and around the area.
Through this expansion, Hofokam continues to advance its mission of promoting financial inclusion and empowering households through accessible, responsible microfinance.
